Make A Day Of It From Killin

Killin, at the head of Loch Tay, is home to the Falls of Dochart and worthy of the breath-taking 50 minute drive from Aberfeldy. Follow the A827 along the north side of Loch Tay passing through the hamlets of Morenish, Lawers – at the foot of Ben Lawers – and Fearnan, before reaching the village of Kenmore at the end of Loch Tay. You can continue along the A827 to Aberfeldy with views of Taymouth Castle and the Croft Moraig Stone Circle or turn left before Mains of Taymouth Country Estate towards Drummond Hill, Karelia House, then towards Castle Menzies, before arriving in Aberfeldy.

Enjoy views of Ben Lawers, Loch Tay and the outstanding countryside.
