We want to reward you for supporting your community cinema. Which is why we are inviting you to earn points every time you purchase a film ticket or anything at our café bar. These points can then be redeemed for film tickets (on us!).

By accessing your Loyalty Card account online, you can check both points earned and points redeemed. To do this, login to your Birks Cinema user account.

Every £1 spent at the Cafe Bar or purchasing tickets online = 1 point

120 points = 1 ticket to any of our standard priced films
Local Residents Ticket Discount
Our Local Residents Ticket Discount, will start on 21 June 2024.
If you live in the PH1-PH18 or FK21 - Killin postal codes, please follow the instructions below to register for your Local Resident Membership and start taking advantage of a great discount on cinema tickets.
To take advantage of the local residents discount:
- Register for a Birks Cinema Loyalty Card user account on the Birks Cinema website and ‘purchase’ a Standard FREE membership (if you haven’t already).
- Visit the cinema with proof of your local address, and our staff will update your account status to ‘Local Resident’.
- After that, you will automatically receive the discount when booking tickets online or at the Birks Cafe.
A few Terms & Conditions of note:
The Local Residents Membership is available free to all residents living in the PH1-PH18 or FK21 - Killin postal codes. You must sign up on our website as a Standard Member first and then speak to a member of staff at the Cafe Bar in person, to receive your resident status and take advantage of the discount.
Discounts are only valid on mainstream showings, not Live Cinema, events and other special screenings.
The discount is automatically applied to any showing it’s valid for at the final stage of booking online, once you receive ‘Local Resident’ membership status.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why should I register for an account? A. You have to be a registered, validated Local Resident member with an account on our website to get the discount online and at the Box Office.
Q. Will I get a physical card? A. Yes, all Birks Cinema Loyalty Members can request a physical card that can be scanned at the cafe till. Having the card speeds up identifying yourself as a Local Resident, buying and picking up tickets at the Box Office, and more. The cards are free.
Q. I forgot to bring my membership card A. You can still get the discount by making our staff aware of your registered username when buying tickets, so they can find you on the system.
Q. I lost my membership card A. Let us know on your next visit and we will assign you a new card. If you lose more than two cards, you may be charged a small replacement fee.
Q. I found someone’s membership card A. Please hand it in to the staff at the cafe bar and we will reunite it with its owner, or reset it for reuse.
