Footsteps
[33 min]

The Martin Moran Round
[17 min]
The film follows full-time staff nurse and athlete Robin Downie as he becomes the first person to complete the 'Martin Moran Round', an endurance challenge set amongst the rugged peaks and wild glens of the NW Highlands of Scotland.
Inspired by the local mountains of his youth and Martin's record breaking Munros round back in 1984, Robin dreamt up this epic challenge to raise funds for the Martin Moran Foundation and push his own personal limits. The route crosses over 90 km of wild, pathless terrain, with over 8,890m of ascent, and includes 9 Munros and 6 Corbetts.
'These were Martin's local hills; he knew them better than anyone and shared them with many of us throughout his life. Martin spent lots of time investing in the community he lived in, especially in the young people. Hearing about his adventures and reading his books has inspired me to push and challenge myself even further in my love for hill running.’
Directed by Jimmy Hyland

In this meditative love letter to books, running and the wild highlands she now calls home, we join Georgia on her quest for one of the most important things in life: Balance.
