PIECE BY PIECE depicts the life of Pharrell Williams through the incredible visual power of LEGO animation. From his early beginnings in Virginia Beach, to navigating the rapidly changing music scene of the 90s and 2000s, to becoming the creative and cultural icon he is today. PIECE BY PIECE delivers an inspirational message and embraces the idea that being different is a superpower.

Along with bring one of the world’s most recognisable IPs, LEGO’s animation style brings Pharrell’s story to the big screen in a totally unique way, infusing the film with vibrant colour and helping the comedic moments to really stand out. PIECE BY PIECE has a hugely optimistic tone, delivering Pharrell’s message of hope through a masterful blend of animation and music.

Audiences will delight at seeing the origins of some of the most recognizable Pharrell tracks from the last several years including Happy, Get Lucky, and Drop it Like It’s Hot as well as his collaborations with other artists (Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl, Justin Timberlake’s Rock Your Body and Missy Elliot’s Milkshake among many others).

The film has enjoyed positive reviews following its World Premiere at The Telluride Film Festival and is set for a further boost to its campaign when it closes this year’s London Film Festival on 20th October.
