Baroness Brenda Hale of Richmond was the first woman to serve as President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. With decades of experience as a judge and an intimate knowledge of British law, her new book, With the Law on Our Side – longlisted for 2026’s Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction – uses true stories to explore the complexities of real court decisions. Join Lady Hale to learn how the law works, why we should care about it, and how it can be used to protect all of our rights. Chaired by Claire Mitchell.
