Announcing our next round of Relaxed Screenings featuring classic and contemporary musicals including MEET ME IN ST LOUIS and THE GREATEST SHOWMAN!
In partnership with Dementia Friendly Aberfeldy, these screenings, on the first Friday of every month at 10.30am, are a lovely way to enjoy being in a cinema in a friendly, informal environment, where the audience are very welcome to speak, sing, clap and laugh throughout the screening. The lights are left on low and the sound is set to a lower volume.
These relaxed screenings are often appreciated by people with dementia and their carers and assistants, neurodiverse people, anyone who loves a good musical and anyone who enjoys a more informal cinema experience.
The next relaxed screening is ROMAN HOLIDAY on 1 July - a 1953 romantic comedy starring Audrey Hepburn as a princess out to see Rome on her own and Gregory Peck as a reporter. Hepburn won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance. Future showings are:
5 Aug - THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS
2 Sept - THE GREATEST SHOWMAN
7 Oct - THE PINK PANTHER
4 Nov - MEET ME IN ST LOUIS
2 Dec - WHITE CHRISTMAS
Tickets are just £5 for all screenings and can be booked through our website or by phoning 01887 822845.
